Terms and Conditions
1. Direct Digital reserves the right to withdraw the free website offer at any time.
2. The free website offer is available to all new Direct Digital advertisers who take out a minimum 12 months advertising.
3. The free website refers to a one-page template website including up to six images and unlimited text. The layout of the website is determined by the template.
4. The template draws from the Direct Digital database where listings are managed.
5. All free websites are required to have a 468 x 70 pixel Direct Digital advertisement for the corresponding directory at the base of the website, as well as text links back to that directory.
6. A domain name will not be registered until full payment of the account has been made received.
7. Direct Digital bears the cost of domain name registration through a third party. Domain names are registered for a period of two years and are owned by the Client.
8. A certificate of domain name ownership from the third party supplier is provided to the Direct Digital website Client.
9. Renewals will be paid by Direct Digital as long as the Client maintains advertising with Direct Digital on a continual basis.
10. Should the Client cease Direct Digital advertising after one year, the Client is able to take with them the remaining 12 months at no charge, and take over responsibility for ongoing renewals. The administration of this change is able to be handled by the Client, however if assistance is required from Direct Digital, a $30 plus GST administration fee will be charged.
11. It is entirely the Client’s responsibility to take all actions to renew their domain name once they have ceased advertising with Direct Digital. If contact details have not been updated with the domain name registrar upon cessation of advertising, Direct Digital takes no responsibility for any lapse or expiry of a Client’s domain name.
12. The initial setup of the advertisement and website will be undertaken by Direct Digital. Text and images are to be supplied digitally by the Client (via email or CD). Specifications will be provided to the Client upon commencement of advertising.
13. All changes and updates are the responsibility of the Client. If Direct Digital is required to edit listings on a Client's behalf, a fee at the rate of $25 plus GST per 15 minutes will be charged.
14. Dedicated email addresses are not available with the Direct Digital website system.
15. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure their own details are correct and current at all times.
16. Any liability for loss, error or omission on the part of Direct Digital is limited to refund of the advertising fee.
